Spencer Klavsons, originally from Flemington, New Jersey, has significantly impacted his adopted Lake Forest, Illinois home. His journey, characterized by unwavering tenacity and a commitment to knowledge, began with a move from New Jersey to Lake Forest in 2010. Enrolling at Deer Path Middle School, he quickly demonstrated his dedication, particularly excelling in wrestling, rugby, and football, showcasing his athletic talents. This commitment to athletics persisted through his time at Lake Forest High School until his family moved to Mendham, NJ, after his sophomore year.

High School Years and Growth

While at West Morris Mendham High School, he embraced hard work and perseverance challenges, actively participating in football, lacrosse, and wrestling. These experiences honed his skills and proved that dedication and a continuous drive for learning could lead to exceptional achievements.

Academic Pursuits and Expanding Horizons

Graduating from high school in 2014, he took the next step in his academic journey at the University of Colorado, Boulder. During this period, he began his adventure in pet ownership with a Siberian Husky and later Sullivan, a St. Bernard and Golden Retriever mix. Initially interested in engineering, Spencer’s passion for learning led him to switch his focus to economics, from which he graduated with a BA.

Career Progression and Achievements

Post-graduation, he embarked on a career as a NASM-certified personal trainer, where he excelled, helping many clients achieve their fitness goals. His career trajectory took a significant turn in 2021 when he joined King Juice as a Lab Technician in Quality Assurance for Calypso Lemonade/King Juice Inc. His hard work and dedication were quickly recognized, earning him a promotion to Business Development Specialist and the title 'Employee of the Month' in May 2023. He now manages operations across five states, significantly impacting the company's growth.

Personal Interests and Community Involvement

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys diverse hobbies such as hiking, exercising, and downhill skiing, where he won a silver medal in NASTAR racing. He also dedicates his time to giving back to the community, volunteering as a teaching assistant at the West Morris County Arts Workshop in New Jersey guiding children aged 5-7 in English, science, and art.
